My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though decorated in a beautiful traditional Indonesian theme, were not exceptional due to maintenance issues like scratches on the furniture and a damaged bathroom door. Being near the main road, the noise of cars at night was a drawback. The service, however, was top-notch, with the staff being amazingly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The location was good enough, close to Malioboro street and Kraton palace, making it convenient for shopping and sightseeing. The dining experience, offering a good variety of food including Indonesian cuisine, was a highlight, although more menu options could enhance the experience.

The hotel has a super comfy bed, although the room felt a bit dark. It was spotlessly clean, but slightly smaller than expected for a 5-star hotel, especially the toilet. The possibly from the wood used in the cupboard was noticeable.

I absolutely loved the hotel's strategic location, close to the main road, airport, and Prambanan temple. The rooms, though comfy, showed signs of wear and could benefit from an upgrade. The service was incredibly pleasant and helpful, with special touches like helping us find a repair shop for broken glasses. The dining experience offered a fantastic spread of local and international food, especially the make-to-order ginger drinks.

The hotel rooms are very nice and prepped very well, though they are starting to show some age. The bathrooms are a little small but comfortable, clean, and beautifully decorated. The service is wonderful, professional, cheerful, and beyond expectations, especially the doorman named Rizki who showed great hospitality. The location is gorgeous, strategic for iconic places and shopping, though a bit far from certain zones. The dining experience is excellent, offering a large variety of local and international cuisine. The hotel is in an old colonial building in Kuala Lumpur, with gamelan music playing, making it very central. Overall, a great stay with a few minor room issues and a bit of a distance from some attractions.

After a 25-hour journey, I arrived at the hotel and was a bit disappointed with the uninteresting view facing the road. The rooms seemed old and not as clean as I would have liked, but the fabulous swimming pool made up for it. The service surpassed my expectations; the staff was excellent, cheerful, and well-trained. The location was quite central, making it easy to get around town, although a bit shady for walking. The dining experience was average, with an okay buffet dinner but slow egg service. Overall, a decent value for money stay.
